3 Simple Things You Must Have
Remember, while all your site pages are viewable by all browsers on all platforms, to edit your site with one of our editors, you must have the following three things:

  1. Internet Explorer 5.5 or above on a Windows Platform. How to check? Click on the IE icon to download your FREE copy of Internet Explorer. Look for the "Download" link.
  2. You will also need internet access (dialup modem, DSL Cable... etc.)
  3. A system with cookies enabled or your IE security settings set to "medium".

Optional:

  • You may need to adjust your IE settings so it does not cache pages.
  • Although our tools and programs work at lower resolutions, a screen resolution of 800x600 pixels or higher is recommended for some editing and admin functions.
  • Some Windows systems may not be regularly maintained. If you experience any problems, you should make sure you have the current patches and updates applied to your system. The FREE Windows Update program will aid you in checking and installing all important fixes.

How to Check Your Internet Explorer Version

To see what version of Internet explorer you a have, follow these simple steps.

1. Open Internet Explorer from either the start menu, or by "double clicking" on the desktop icon named "Internet Explorer".

2. On the top menu of IE select "Help", then "About Internet Explorer". You should see the following or similar panel open with the version of your program. Make sure the "Version" is at least version 5.5 or higher. If you do not have either internet explorer, or a current version, you may download IE for FREE by clicking the linked IE logo graphic to the right.

Free Browser Test

If you are unsure of your system's ability, use any of our WSYWIG "edit in place" content editors, like our great online content editor and our powerful full page template editor, then you can use our FREE Browser Test below. Make sure you are not trying to run it from inside MSN, AOL or anything other than the real Internet Explorer. MSN, AOL, or even Snap-In tool bars from companies like Yahoo! or others, may look like IE, but they are NOT the same and will interfere or not support IE's normal operation.
