Selecting a Password

In order to protect your domain name, site content, and your personal account information, you must create a password that only you know.

Choose a password that only you are likely to know or guess, and that you will not forget. It must be at least 6 characters long. The default password provided does not have to be used. If you like, you can just delete it completely and enter your own password.

You CAN change your password and should do so if you believe that it has become compromised or known by someone other than yourself.

Remember, anyone with your User Name and Password can login to your account and change content on your site, see and change your billing information, and purchase services either from us or other companies with your private information. They could even change your e-mail address and password, making it impossible for you to get back in! - Protect your User Name and Password!

Selection of a good password is important. Passwords that are over 8 characters long, contain upper AND lower case, and use numbers or other special characters are considered "strong" passwords as they take much longer to hack with hacking password generators and are difficult to guess. Using your last name would be a poor password choice as anyone might try the common sorts of words that would come to your mind such as a maiden name, birthday, spouse's name or a pet's name.
